“Marketing excellence is about being the absolute best you can be, from the very start to the very finish. Never compromise, have a clear goal and always deliver over and above.”

Kristie Atkins BACS FAMI CPM MAICD

Managing Partner, Wink

“The 2020 AMI awards for Marketing Excellence, once again, attracted a very high standard and volume of entries – despite the impact of COVID-19.

The AMI Awards underline the importance of marketing to Australian business and the community. As we come out of the ‘COVID fog’, marketing will play a particularly important role in helping business re-build market presence and reinforce what the company’s brand stands for.  Marketing enables business to re-connect with its customers and stimulates revenue creation. Critical factors, particularly in tough times.

The Awards also highlight the importance of professionalism amongst marketing practitioners. Professional marketers exhibit a commitment to excellence and the achievement of specific outcomes for the business. They have pride in their chosen field and work to a set of ethical standards.  These factors are what distinguish a professional marketer from the rest.”

Andrew Thornton

Board Director, AMI

“Along with our partner News Corp, the Heart Foundation’s Serial Killer campaign took out two AMI awards in 2019: Creativity in Brand, Product or Service Marketing; and Social Change Marketing. We don’t come to work every day to win awards but to be recognised by the most established and respected Marketing Awards in Australia is a testament to all the talented, dedicated, passionate and courageous teams at the Heart Foundation and News Corp that brought the Serial Killer campaign to life.”
