Through my mentor and the program overall, I learned the importance of networking, maintaining meaningful professional connections, setting clear goals and actively putting yourself forward for opportunities. These learnings gave me the confidence to take the next step in my professional journey.

I’d highly recommend this program to any emerging marketer looking to build confidence, grow their network and gain valuable guidance from experienced industry professionals.

Mentor

University prepares you for the A, B, Cs of your craft but not for so many other areas of professional development: understanding ‘what’s normal’ in a workplace, how to move towards your career path, effectively communicate with managers and peers, navigate politics and connect the dots. Mentoring provides a safe space to explore this and so much more.

I have observed how mentoring through the AMI’s Emerging Marketers Program helps developing marketers to feel more connected to their peers, supported and to find greater peace of mind around challenges they may be experiencing – developing greater clarity, confidence and valuable connections.

Mentor

I would recommend this program to any emerging marketer who is eager to learn, grow and build a strong foundation for their career. It’s particularly beneficial for those who may feel uncertain about their career direction or who want to gain insights from someone outside their immediate network. The program provides a safe, judgment-free space to discuss challenges, ask questions and gain clarity. It’s also an excellent opportunity for mentees to expand their professional network and learn from experienced marketers who are genuinely invested in their success.
