Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) – Welcomes New Chair and New Directors

The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) today announced the appointment of its new Chair and new member-elected directors.
The AMI Board has appointed Kristie Atkins as Chair of the AMI Board. A multi-award-winning commercial growth leader, Kristie is Managing Director of Wink, Australasia’s most celebrated loyalty and engagement agency. She is an AMI Life Member, Fellow, and former Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) of the Year. Kristie is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women on Boards.

Kristie’s extensive career includes leadership roles as Divisional Managing Director for Village Roadshow, Chief Operating Officer of Waivpay, Chief Commercial Officer for Ovato, and Director of Sales for Event Hospitality & Entertainment. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of the Hunter Medical Research Institute, Chair of HMRI Foundation and an advisory board member for the digital marketplace, Vennu.
AMI also recognises outgoing director Chris Taylor, who has provided four years of valued contribution. We thank Chris for his commitment to the Board and ongoing support for the AMI and the wider profession.
Following the election for member-appointed directors, four directors were confirmed at today’s Annual General Meeting:
– Maria De Conno, was returned for a second term. Maria has served as Deputy Chair and is Founder & Managing Director of Fig Tree Digital. She has played a key role in AMI’s governance, brand and digital transformation.
– Chelsea Wymer, Chief Marketing Officer, Chartered Accountants ANZ. Chelsea is a global marketing leader with senior experience across professional services, financial services and media.
– Nikki Atack, Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, Pentanet. Nikki is a customer and digital transformation specialist with deep expertise in technology, telecommunications and customer experience design.
– James Keeler, Founder & Director of Mowbray Park Consulting with experience in corporate, agencies, and consultancies. James boasts a strong background in strategy, governance and risk management.
