AI Marketing Skills, Capabilities and Standards
Australian Marketing Institute and equitably.ai Partner to Elevate AI Marketing Skills, Capabilities and Standards Across Australia
The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) has announced a strategic partnership with equitably.ai to advance AI marketing skills, training quality, and professional standards across Australia.
The collaboration is designed to help marketers, organisations, and industry leaders build AI marketing skills with confidence and the commercial acumen needed to thrive in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and data. Together, AMI and equitably.ai will deliver a national framework for AI marketing skills and capability uplift, combining AMI’s deep industry expertise and marketing professional development infrastructure with equitably.ai’s presence in the UK, a leading global AI centre, along with their experienced application of proven, professional quality competency-based approach to AI training and deployment that is practical and return-on-investment (ROI) driven.
“Marketing is the commercial engine of business growth, and capability is its fuel,” said Bronwyn Heys, CEO of the Australian Marketing Institute. “Through this partnership, we’re creating a scalable system to measure, improve, and recognise marketing excellence, ensuring every professional has access to quality learning that delivers real business impact.” The partnership delivers a structured, outcomes-focused pathway to the deployment of AI that brings together equitably.ai’s data science and deep expertise in the application of UK professional quality competencies – context, leadership, improvement, assurance and governance – and proven frameworks to AI with AMI’s national Competency Assessment Tool and professional development ecosystem. Together, they will help marketing teams and organisations assess their AI marketing skills and capability, design tailored learning interventions, and measure the real business impact of AI training. AMI will use the same framework to deploy AI internally with the help of equitably.ai.
The collaboration will embed quality and consistency into the way AI marketing skills and capabilities are developed, enabling companies to improve ROI from learning and marketing while strengthening the career resilience of Australia’s marketing professionals. “AI adoption is moving fast. AI tools like Chat GPT, when measured by milestones like user reach, have been 10-20x the speed of early internet adoption and 50-100x the speed of PC adoption. However, there is ample evidence that not all AI pilots scale and meet ROI expectations. equitably.ai exists to help organisations use proven quality competencies to get value from their investment in AI learning and deployment,” said equitably.ai’s CEO, John Paul Danaee. “Partnering with AMI means we can help transfer AI learning and use cases from the UK, a leading global AI centre and apply proven quality-based disciplines to the deployment of AI by one of Australia’s most dynamic professions, ensuring marketing teams are not only future-ready but business critical.”
By aligning the rigour of equitably.ai’s methodologies with AMI’s mission to progress the careers of marketing professionals, the partnership reinforces the Institute’s commitment to measurable excellence, practical innovation, and the long-term growth of Australia’s marketing profession.
As the partnership develops, both organisations will release further details on new programs, digital tools, and training pathways available through AMI’s national platform.
