Four’N Twenty to fuel Aussie athletes for the Paris Olympics
Patties Food Group’s Four’N Twenty will become the official pie of the Australian Olympic Team as part of a three-year partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC). The deal will also see Patties Food Group’s Fitness Outcomes range become the Aussie team’s official ready meal.
As part of the partnership, Four’N Twenty pies and Fitness Outcomes meals will be served to Australia’s Olympians in the athletes’ village in Paris.
“Our Olympians are working hard to take on the world in Paris and Patties Food Group is proud to be working beside them to enhance the Olympic experience for all who follow and are part of the Games,” said Chief Executive of Patties Food Group, Paul Hitchcock. “Four’N Twenty has been synonymous with sport and a football fan ritual for more than seven decades. It is so exciting for this iconic brand to now become a ritual of the ultimate sporting event, the Olympic Games.
Hitchcock said the company was “” proud to give the Australian Olympic Team the chance to enjoy a little taste of home” with Four’N Twenty pies, as well as bringing the Fitness Outcomes range to athletes and sports fans “who value fuelling their body for peak performance”.
“It’s fantastic that a beloved Australian company like Patties is getting behind our Aussie athletes as they take on the world’s best at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games,” said Chief Executive of the Australian Olympic Committee, Matt Carroll. “We know the support of the Patties Food Group family will play a big part in the success of Australian Olympic Team in Paris in just a few short months, and we are proud to have them joining the AOC family. Thank you, Patties, we look forward to building a really special partnership over the next three years.”
The Paris Games are scheduled to take place in July and August.
