Heineken Australia launches ‘player 0.0’ sim racing tournament in partnership with F1 driver Max Verstappen
Heineken Australia has unveiled ‘Player 0.0’, a mobile and sim racing tournament, in collaboration with Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen from Oracle Red Bull Racing. The tournament is part of Heineken’s ‘When you drive, never drink’ responsibility platform, aiming to unite Australian F1 fans and culminate in a national final in Sydney.
“Player 0.0 is part of Heineken’s commitment to delivering unique and memorable experiences to F1 enthusiasts, all while reinforcing the crucial message that ‘The Best Driver is the one who is not drinking.'” said Dino Bozzone, Heineken Country Manager.
The Australian champion will have the opportunity to race with international peers and Max Verstappen. On July 10, Heineken invites Sydneysiders to a sim Racing event at The Star’s Sydney Sports Bar, hosted by Laura Dundovic. Ten finalists will compete in the National Final, which will consist of 25% of a real F1 circuit, approximating a 20-minute race duration.
Heineken Player 0.0 is featured in social, digital, and audio advertising. The competition is still open for entries until June 30, when the ten Australian finalists will be announced.
