Golfspace grows membership 300%, drives $4m in revenue with data-driven marketing and community engagement approach
GolfSpace, a premium indoor golf experience company, has grown its weekly membership base by over 300% since January 2024, growth it’s attributing to a data-driven marketing approach that’s now led to $4m in revenue.
The venue has been working to build out data-driven marketing approach under the guidance of Francis Coady’s Grand Pacific Entertainment & Advisory. Among the company’s marketing successes is a 45%+ weekly email open rate to their database of nearly 13,000, a strategic partnership with Triple M radio, and collaborations with JCDecaux for large out-of-home advertising. GolfSpace’s marketing strategy also includes a collaboration with Admosis for performance media optimisation, which has resulted in a 40% improvement in ad click-through rates.

GolfSpace Founder and CEO, Dean Dewhirst, has become the face of the brand, contributing to a deep level of trust with the audience. “By putting a face to our brand, we’ve created a connection that goes beyond golf,” explained Coady.
“Dean embodies the passion and innovation that GolfSpace represents and really is becoming the face of amateur golf in Australia and an emerging leader in the entrepreneurial landscape.”
In a bid to support its rapid growth and expansion plans, GolfSpace has now launched a capital raise campaign through Birchal.
“This Birchal raise is not just about funding; it’s about inviting our community to be part of the GolfSpace revolution,” said Dewhirst. “We’re not just building a business; we’re creating a movement in the Australian golfing community.”
Future initiatives for GolfSpace include a collaboration with a leading Australian University on golf performance research and innovation, expected to be announced in coming weeks.
