AMI Member Spotlight: Paul Vittles
Me and Jacs have just had a lovely holiday in the UK for a month, including our Silver Wedding Anniversary celebrations. It was fantastic seeing family and friends, but never enough time to see everyone. We’re planning to be in Australia for another 3 years (that will make it 15 years in Australia) and will then relocate back to the UK to be nearer our loves ones. We love people in Australia too, just not as much! Seriously, 5 grand-daughters in the UK are the trump card.
I’ve just finished a couple of major assignments with (newly-privatised) Ausgrid. The stakeholders tell me I have certainly ‘left a legacy’, including the ground breaking research & engagement program, Customers at the Centre.
Watch video and read more in the report if you are interested in the topic.
I’m still employed by Ausgrid but looking for a new challenge elsewhere – either a role where I can help the whole energy sector to become more customer focused & accountable as it shifts to a ‘clean energy future’, or something in the not-for-profit sector in my areas of passionate interest (workplace mental health, suicide prevention – I’d love to be part of initiatives to halve the numbers of suicides & suicide attempts but I firmly believe that will only happened with more investment in digital communications solutions – ethical decision making, shared value, anti-poverty advocacy). I’ll always be busy!
