Peter has had near fifty-year blended career in Education, Commerce and Senior Marketing Management. He was highly instrumental in expanding the AMI’S relationships with universities and for developing contemporary Marketing program accreditation and assessment materials.
Peter holds a PhD (Marketing) from the University of Technology, Sydney and Masters degrees in Business (Marketing) and Management and is a Certified Practising Marketer and has been an AMI member since 1985. Peter is an Exhibitioner of The University of Sydney and was 2003 UTS Faculty of Business Scholar.
In Education, Peter has been an Academic Director and Head of Academic Audit at two large international Unicentres, offering tertiary programs from Australian, United Kingdom and United States universities. Peter has co-ordinated and lectured many business studies programs across Australia and East Asia and was an invited member on the Education Panel at the World Trade Organisation (Hong Kong). Peter acted as an External Examiner and Assessor to NSW TAFE and was an advisor on Education to Centre for Business and Management Development, Singapore.
Peter was co-producer and Asia Pacific Marketing content advisor creating three SBS television series and, he shared an Australian Excellence Educational Publishing Award. He collaborated with the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Federal Republic of Germany by developing educational programs for developing countries and represented Ngee Ann Polytechnic at the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and sat on the Finsia Working Party, Finance, advising the Australian Business Deans Council.
In Business, Peter was on the Australian Marketing Group top team, Westpac Banking Corporation, Chaired, the Australian Bankers Association Working Party Into Australian Government Securities a was an Advisor on Deposit Products counselling the Australian Parliamentary Inquiry Into Banking (Campbell Report) and sat via Finsia on the Global Bond Market Roundtable.
