Australian Marketing Institute appoints John Clay as its newest Director of the Board
The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) is pleased to announce the appointment of its newest member, John Clay to its Board of Directors effective from the conclusion of the 2018 Annual General Meeting.
Coming from an professional Marketing background, John has considerable experience in the domain of Marketing, having held senior roles in the corporate sector including Telstra, BT, URS and with Arup. For the last 8 years John was a member of Arup’s Australasia executive team and was responsible for marketing, communications, and client engagement across the region; in addition to being the functional Skills practice leader for Arup worldwide.
John commented on his recent appointment, stating “The AMI exists for its members, to support them in developing their skills and competencies over their careers, access to the latest trends and thought leadership in marketing; and to provide a marketing discipline voice to a wider audience. I am honoured to be appointed as a director for the Australian Marketing Institute and give back to the profession which has provided so much to me over my career”
The newly elected Director will serve for a three-year term in accordance with the AMI Constitution, and at the end of his last term in 2021 will be eligible for re-election.
