Bridgestone retains title as most trusted tyre brand in ANZ region for ninth consecutive year

Bridgestone has once again been named the ‘Most Trusted Tyre Brand’ in Australia and New Zealand by Reader’s Digest magazine, overall achieving the tenth position for the twenty most trusted brands of 2025.

It marked the 12th consecutive year that Bridgestone has secured the award in Australia and the ninth consecutive year in New Zealand.

Health and wellbeing brands including Panadol, Cancer Council, and the Royal Flying Doctor Service continue to dominate the top ten list with Dettol taking home overall first place. Bunnings snagged Australia’s ‘Most Iconic Brand’, becoming the only other retailer to crack the top twenty at seventh place, while Cadbury was the only FMCG food brand to reach the top twenty.

The recognition is based on the annual Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand survey, which involves over 2,500 Australians and 1,500 New Zealanders evaluating brands across more than 70 categories. The survey is conducted by the independent research company, Catalyst.

Managing Director of Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand, Heath Barclay, said: “We have a commitment to our customers to provide safe, reliable and quality tyres, backed by transparent and expert service across our network. Being named Australia & New Zealand’s Most Trusted Tyre Brand yet again is recognition that we continue to deliver on this.”

Bridgestone offers a diverse range of tyres catering to passenger vehicles, SUVs, 4x4s, trucks, and buses. Recent product developments include the Dueler A/T 002 all-terrain 4×4 tyre and the forthcoming Turanza 6 touring tyre, which incorporates Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology. This technology is designed to optimise safety, sustainability, and performance.

“The trust of trust of motorists takes years to build, and we’re honoured to have maintained the trust across both countries for such a long time. It’s a testament to all our teammates and our network of stores who go above and beyond to ensure the peace of mind of our customers,” said Barclay.

“Bridgestone continues to invest in new technology like ENLITEN to meet evolving customer needs. As more motorists turn to hybrid and electric vehicles, we are ensuring they have tyres designed for optimal performance as the needs of motorists shift.

“Our commitment to society extends beyond trusted and quality tyres. We strive to create lasting value for our customers and society through meaningful partnerships and initiatives, all driven by the principles of the Bridgestone E8 Commitment.”
