Chobani Australia announces new GM marketing, sciences and innovation
Chobani Australia has revealed new leadership appointments, with Connie Biviano taking on the role of General Manager of Science & Innovation and Ellie Vince stepping in as General Manager of Marketing.
Biviano brings over two decades of experience in the dairy and food industries to her new role, with expertise in R&D, dairy technology, and process optimisation. Her previous roles include positions at Parmalat/Lactalis, Carman’s, and Flavour Makers. In her new role, Biviano will oversee Chobani’s Science & Innovation team, leading product and packaging innovation with a focus on quality and health-forward formulations.
“I am thrilled to join a company whose dedication to natural ingredients, innovation, and nutritious, accessible food aligns so closely with my values. I look forward to driving sustainable outcomes and quality improvements that will not only enhance our products but also create meaningful value for our communities. At Chobani, we have an incredible opportunity to shape the future of food through science, technology, and our shared mission to make a difference,” Biviano said.
Vince, known for her strategic insight and consumer-focused approach, has extensive experience in brand-building, omni-channel strategies, and campaign execution. In her new role, Vince will head up Chobani’s Marketing team, with a vision centred around growing brand awareness and ensuring more Australians experience the quality and purpose behind every Chobani product.
“I’m honoured to work with such a talented team on brands Australians know and love. Our focus is on sustainable growth by blending creativity and commerciality in ways that surprise and exceed consumer expectations. My goal is to make sure Chobani and Gippsland Dairy play a meaningful role in the daily lives of Australians, and I’m excited to get started,” she said.
As reported by Mi3, the appointments follow the recent departure of former Chobani GM of growth, Olivia Dickinson, for a role at McCain as its marketing director of growth. GM of demand, Julia Clark, also left earlier this year.
Chobani recently installed MD, Scott Hadley, told Mi3 it was incubating a major cultural change amid the shake-up of roles and priorities, including the return of a dedicated GM of marketing position.
Both Biviano and Vince will contribute to Chobani’s mission-driven approach, combining science and creativity to achieve commercial success and elevate consumer experiences. Their appointments underscore Chobani Australia’s commitment to sustainable growth and community engagement.
