Zepic launches hyper-personalised customer engagement platform following $2.1m pre-seed round
ZEPIC Inc., a customer experience software company, has launched a platform designed to enable hyper-personalised customer engagement. The launch follows a $2.1 million pre-seed investment round, with Neon Fund contributing $500,000. Angel investors from Apple, Chargebee, Freshworks, Microsoft, and ZOHO also participated in the funding round.
“ZEPIC is fundamentally designed and built on customer records, serving as the source of truth for all teams within the business,” says Naveen Venkatesan, Co-founder and Product Head of ZEPIC. The platform can ingest and model any business data alongside customer data, enabling businesses to leverage all available information for hyper-personalised customer experiences.
“With all browsers blocking third-party cookies, ZEPIC helps businesses prioritise first-party data collection through its intelligent visitor tracking, identity resolution and progressive customer profile enrichment,” Venkatesan adds.
ZEPIC’s mission, according to Sreelesh Pillai, Co-founder and Business Head of ZEPIC, is to “empower businesses to personalise communications. To personalise, and in real-time, businesses need to respect and make easily available business and customer data.”
The platform also aims to help businesses manage overwhelming amounts of data by bringing together only what is needed. “‘Garbage in, garbage out’ is the case today in many enterprises with plenty of data, but with ZEPIC you have the chance to start over a clean slate without breaking things technology-wise, cost-wise, or culture-wise,” Pillai explains.
